About Us. Since 2003, Tabla has been making some of the best fresh pasta in Portland. Made in-house, using the best ingredients possible, Tabla's pasta is simple, comforting, and absolutely delicious. In addition to Tabla's standard pastas, the restaurant also offers a full line of handmade gluten-free pastas. Tabla also offers seasonal salads, appetizers, charcuterie, desserts, a cheese board (curated by Steve Jones of Cheese Bar), and an excellent and focused wine list. The atmosphere is fun and convivial - the tables are reclaimed wood, the chairs are gunmetal, the bar is concrete.
