The Greenwich Village Bistro has been in the Village for over 15 years. It is still family owned and operated. The owner’s are lifelong Village residents and advocate for the Village. You can sit out front and watch the world go by or dine inside and enjoy the view of the park and fountain directly facing the Bistro. The building is circa 1900 and has all the charm of the “Greenwich Village” heyday. Occasionally the Bistro offers great entertainment and live jazz. The origins of the word bistro are uncertain but once you have been to the Greenwich Village Bistro you will understand what a true bistro is all about.
