Emerald Loop

Emerald Loop is the closest thing you'll get to a "local bar" feel in the Loop. It's more on the casual end, there always seems to be a good handful of people there, and the crowd tends to be young professionals. The food is pretty good. It's your typical bar food, but they do it well. You can't really go wrong with any of the choices they have. Great variety of drink options, fun overall atmosphere, attentive staff, and a good go to when you're looking for a casual stop in the evening. The best benefit this place has to offer is that it is one of the only bars that's open late on the weekends and weekdays. Most other locations in the area close up pretty early once business hours are over, but Emerald Loop is able to provide that much needed late night drink once all your work is done at the end of the day.
