Harold and Belle's Restaurant

Creole cuisine was born in New Orleans as a wide variety of cultures and foods crossed paths and the foundation to the style, with heavy influence of African and Native American flavors and ingredients, which made us of the locally available seafood and game. Spices were implemented from the Caribbean and West Indies, and as settlers from more countries arrived in the bustling port of New Orleans, elements of German, Italian, and Irish dishes were included. In that respect, Creole cooking is a truly American creation of diverse cultures and influences and New Orleans is its home. We'd be pleased if you would join us for a meal.
