Welcome to pomodoro Gourmet Pizza & Pasta! Serving authentic Italian dishes, prepared with truly fresh ingredients right before we serve. We make any pasta combo (pastabilities) you like, or just choose from our unique selection. In 1993, I convinced my wife that we should pour our hearts into the things that we enjoy the most – food and people. Wholeheartedly she agreed and Pomodoro Gourmet Pizza was born. Like everyone else, we appreciate good service, great food, and a tasteful environment, but as customers our dining expectations were not consistently met. With Pomodoro Gourmet Pizza our goal was to create a casual Pizza Restaurant that delivered the entire experience at a reasonable price. We combined our experience in business, operations and service and spent the following months pulling together a sophisticated advisory board with seasoned professionals, developing and testing our menu, building relationships with local suppliers and hiring and training our employees. In March 1994 Pomodoro Gourmet Pizza was opened in downtown San Francisco , Financial District. Thank you for your support and we look forward to continuing to serve you!
