Welcome to Calamari restaurant! With ample umbrellas and trickling fountains, our court garden is as lively as a sidewalk café, yet, all the while retaining a wonderfully intimate feel of dining al fresco in a private garden. Inside, our spacious dining room will welcome you with its open kitchen and visible brick oven, providing the perfect setting for a party of one or a party of 250. Our abundant menu features Italian favorites, and seafood is our specialty: our Lobster Ravioli was named in New Times "Top 100 Favorite Dishes of Miami," and Chef Alex's Tuna Tartare is among the most ordered dishes. Our Monday Night Maine Lobster Special, and our Sunday Brunch are legendary (see "Specials buttons for details"). Calamari is part of the Grove Trilogy of restaurants surrounding our court garden, including La Bottega, and Taurus, the Grove's most legendary bar. We are also part of the family of restaurants which include such South Florida favorites as Il Villagio in Merrick Park, Carpaccio in Bal Harbour, Bella Luna and Trattoria Rosalia in Aventura.
