Banc Cafe

We occupy a space that was once a bank in the 1920's. It closed during the Great Depression. It has been a bar of some sort since. When we took possession it was known as BIlly's Bank Cafe. A gin mill with definitely some character. Our goal was to create a bar/restaurant that would truly be part of the neighborhood. A place that all would frequent, both young & old. The name, "Banc Cafe" is actually a reference to our heritage (Irish). Banc is actually the Gaeilge spelling for Bank. It is pronounced "Bank" not "Bonc". Genuine hospitality is really what we are about. We truly hope you enjoy yourselves here with us.
